March 25 - An Loi Nursery school

This school was built in 2002 by the D.O.V.E. Fund. This area was hit hard by the floods of Typhoon Ketsana last year and the current school has a number of maintenance issues. The facility has become overcrowded with new children. There are currently 62 students attending with ages ranging from 2 to 6.

They divide the room into two for two classes. The D.O.V.E. Fund will be considering a proposal to build a new daycare center with two more classrooms and kitchen as well as a "water closet". This is what the work of the D.O.V.E. Fund is all about.

The children were very well behaved as they sang us songs and danced around in celebration of our coming. As usual, we had presents for them, including uniforms, work books and writing tools.

Always a sucker for a romp on the floor with happy kids. I could not resist showing them our excitement and love in return.
