The D.O.V.E. Fund built this school in 2001 and we were back to check out a new project we had just funded which included facility maintenance as well as computers and library equipment.
We were greeted by a sea of smiling faces waiting to perform for us.
The enthusiasm caught on and soon members of our delegation were thoroughly involved in sharing such American favorites as "The Hokey Pokey" and "The Chicken Dance" with much student participation. No language barrier here and the teachers have even requested instructions so they can share these American favorites with future students.
This school sits just south of the Reunification monument on the south side of the wartime DMZ.
